How far in advance should I book your services for my wedding day?

It is advisable to book your bridal beauty services 6-12 months in advance to secure your preferred date, especially if you are getting married during peak wedding season.

Can you accommodate a large bridal party?

Absolutely! I can tailor my services to accommodate any size bridal party, ensuring everyone looks and feels their best on the special day.

What is a trial and why do I need a trial appointment?

A trial is a pre-wedding session where we discuss your vision, try different looks, and finalise the perfect style for your big day. It ensures that you are comfortable with the chosen look and allows us to test and make any necessary adjustments before the big day. I highly recommend a trial appointment for bridal bookings as they are an invaluable opportunity to get to know one another make sure we are a good fit for your special day.

When should I book my trial appointment and what’s involved?

I recommend booking your trial appointment 6-8 weeks before your wedding. This appointment is usually 1.5-3 hours depending on what services you are booking in for. We will discuss and test your desired hair/makeup looks within the allotted time.
Bring along any inspiration photos and accessories to help us understand your overall theme and style.

Will you come to me?

I am a fully mobile artist so I offer on-site services to provide convenience and ensure a stress-free experience on your wedding day. I will come to your chosen location, whether it's your home or the wedding venue.

Do you charge a travel fee?

Travel charges apply to all bookings located more than 10km from Newport, 3015. If you are unsure if your wedding location will incur an additional travel cost, please get in touch with me directly through my contact page.  

 Do you require a deposit?

All bridal bookings are secured with a non-refundable booking fee. Cancellations within a certain timeframe may incur additional charges. Contact Madeleine for full terms and conditions.

What products do you use?

As a professional artist, I use high definition quality makeup and salon quality hair products. In my kit you will see a variety of brands including makeup from: Make Up For Ever, NARS, Viseart Paris, Giorgio Armani, and M.A.C; skincare from La Roche Posay, Bioderma, Kiehls and Embryolisse; and Eleven, Kevin Murphy and Evo hair styling products.
All of my tools and products are hygienically used and professionally sanitised according to government requirements and industry best practice. I am also fully prepared for any skin allergies you may have or ethical concerns i.e. vegan options, SPF, fragrance free.

How do I prepare for my Wedding Day?

Looking after yourself is key to a flawless finish on your wedding day. Get plenty of sleep, drink plenty of water and establish a good skincare routine leading up to your big day.  We can discuss your individual skin care needs in more detail at your trial.
If you plan to colour your hair for your wedding, it’s a good idea to do this before your trial so you can truly see what the final product will look like.
I will send you more thorough preparation notes before the big day.

Do I need my own makeup for touch ups?

All of my brides are given personalised touch up advice to ensure keep your makeup stays fresh into the night. If you want to purchase your own lipstick to keep after the wedding we can discuss colours and products at your trial.
